These terms govern your use of themidlifetemple.com and any programs, sessions, or services offered by Immergence. By using this site or enrolling in a program, you agree to them.

The nature of this work
The Midlife Temple offers somatic education, coaching, and embodiment practices for women in midlife.
This work is not medical care, psychotherapy, or mental health treatment. Luce Beaulieu is a certified somatic educator and coach. She is not a physician, psychologist, psychotherapist, or licensed mental health professional, and nothing offered here constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Nothing on this site or in any program should be used as a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare provider. Always consult your physician about your health, and never disregard or delay medical advice because of something you read or experienced here.
If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis line in your area.
Somatic and embodiment practices can bring up strong physical sensations and emotional material. You participate voluntarily and at your own discretion, and you are responsible for your own wellbeing during and after any session or program. You agree to stop any practice that doesn't feel right for you, and to seek appropriate professional support if you need it.
No guarantee of results
Every woman's experience is her own. We make no promise or guarantee of any particular outcome, result, or transformation. What you get from this work depends on many things, including your own participation.
Enrolment and payment
Program prices, dates, and inclusions are as stated at the time of enrolment. Payment is due as specified at checkout. Where a payment plan is offered, you agree to complete all payments in the plan.
Refunds and cancellations
Deposits. Where a program requires a deposit to hold your place, that deposit forms part of the total program price. Deposits are refundable up to three days before the program begins, less a 25% administrative fee. After that point, deposits are non-refundable.
Group programs. Before a program begins, refunds are available up to three days before the start date, less a 25% administrative fee. Once a group program has begun, no refunds are issued.
Private coaching. Once private coaching has begun, no refund is issued for sessions already delivered. If you choose to stop, you are released from any remaining payments in your plan, and you will be refunded the value of any sessions you have paid for but not yet used, less a 25% administrative fee.
Leaving mid-program. If you need to withdraw from a program after it has begun for a serious reason—serious illness, bereavement, or another circumstance genuinely beyond your control—please write to me. In these circumstances, the unused portion of the program will be refunded, less a 25% administrative fee. Documentation may be requested.
Withdrawal for any other reason does not qualify for a refund.
If I cancel. If I cancel a program, postpone it, or am otherwise unable to deliver it, you will receive a full refund of everything you have paid. No administrative fee applies.
How to request a refund. Write to [email protected]. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
Your conduct in our spaces
Our programs and community spaces are built on safety, respect, and confidentiality.
By participating, you agree to:
• Treat other participants with respect
• Keep what others share confidential
• Not record, screenshot, or share any session or another participant's words without explicit permission
• Take responsibility for your own experience and participation
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose conduct compromises the safety of the group, without refund.
Intellectual property
All content on this site and in our programs—writing, teaching materials, recordings, practices, frameworks, and terminology—belongs to Immergence and is protected by copyright.
You may use program materials for your own personal use. You may not copy, distribute, sell, teach, or otherwise share them without our written permission.
Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Immergence is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or participation in any program. Our total liability in any circumstance will not exceed the amount you paid us for the program or service in question.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of the judicial district of Montréal.
